INTRO
Our main activities are training in the martial art of Aikido, and other aspects of the culture and art of the Far
East, such as Shinrin Yoku connecting with nature, the art of calligraphy, origami, embodiment, etc.
The founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba, said: “The individual who lives in harmony with himself and others
creates a peaceful world.”
Guided by this idea, at Aiki En, through non-formal learning and experiential activities, our main goal is to
encourage harmony and harmonious action in everyday life. In order to restore balance and achieve
harmony, we must be connected with ourselves, with the community, as well as with nature in a healthy,
open and conscious way.
Our activities include Aikido trainings and workshops, Calligraphy writing, Origami, embodiment workshops
and education, and outdoor activities. The association is also involved in implementing local and international
projects aimed at improving the quality of life of the local community, and promoting the idea of equality,
acceptance of diversity, and intercultural dialogue. Recently, the organisation is developing a youth club,
where our participants have safe space for creating the content in accordance of their own needs and
interests.
VISION
At Aiki En, we envision a world where individuals cultivate harmony within themselves, foster meaningful connections within their communities, and nurture a profound relationship with nature. Through the principles of Aikido and the practices of embodiment, we inspire and empower people to embody peace, resilience, and balance. Our commitment is to create a vibrant global community where the art of harmonious living is not only practiced but celebrated, guiding each individual on a transformative journey towards wholeness and interconnectedness.
