Teen Spirit

INTRO

Our main target group is young people aged 15–30. We give special attention to disadvantaged youth, including young people from low-income families, ethnic minorities, the Roma community, and those at risk of social exclusion. We also support youth from vulnerable groups by promoting equality, inclusion and mutual respect. We mainly use non-formal education methods such as learning by doing, group work, workshops, discussions and creative activities. Our special programmes include youth exchanges, international seminars, local workshops, cultural events and festivals. One of our key activities is the youth-led “Tuka e Taka Fest”, which gives young people the opportunity to act as organizers, volunteers and artists. Through all our activities, we aim to strengthen young people’s skills, confidence and active role in the local community.

VISION

Our vision is a strong, active and inclusive local community where young people are heard, valued and motivated to shape their future. We believe that even small towns can be places of innovation, solidarity and youth leadership. Teen Spirit envisions a society in which young people take initiative, respect diversity and contribute positively at local, national and European level.”
