CVS-Bulgaria aims to promote the idea of volunteer work through organising variety of voluntary activities; to motivate the young people to be active and participate in volunteer actions; to promote and support intercultural understanding and solidarity, social justice and environment preservation. Main activities of CVS-Bulgaria are: organising short- and longterm volunteer projects – youth exchanges, trainings, hosting and sending volunteers for projects in public benefit in Bulgaria and Europe, as well as working in partnership with other NGOs to promote volunteering as a tool for active citizenship. CVS-Bulgaria is supported by all its associated and full members as well as by numerous active volunteers and friends. CVS-Bulgaria has years of experience in the field of work with young people including young people with fewer opportunities. We also have significant experience with the Erasmus+ Program, European Solidarity Corps, CERV, Europe for Citizens and AMIF programs which includes organisation of and participation in trainings, seminars, youth exchanges, coordinating, receiving and sending longterm volunteers. Our main scope of activities are – promoting and organizing local, national, and international volunteering activities for peace, solidarity, inclusion, social and environmental justice, non-formal learning, cultural diversity, and active citizenship. For us in CVS-Bulgaria it is very important to support our staff, volunteers, young people, and youth workers in their growth and development. That is why we have been constantly supporting youngsters in their learning process in the volunteering and youth field. We have provided many opportunities to young people to develop their competences through realizing projects and activities that are inline with our aims and objectives. We know from our experience how motivational and inspiring could be the non-formal learning process and what results and improvements it brings on personal and professional level, and this is the reason we are all the time aiming at giving various opportunities for the core people we work with for the development of their capacities. One of the ways is to provide and involve the active members in different educational opportunities. Many of our volunteers have started to facilitate various educational activities through our different projects with refugees, in environmental field, non-formal activities for young people, etc. We also have experienced trainers and facilitators that act as mentors to the junior ones. Now we need of more knowledge and skills in turning the activities in online settings.
